peeks: low miles, engine's good, and i've been waiting for over a year to find a car i actually LIKED. seems like everything i'd come across lately was completely meh.

And if you do, those raised white BFG's HAVE TO GO and the thing needs a good buff and wax.

That's just the start. I helped a buddy trick out a 88 'Stang GT and let me tell you there are a TON of things you can do with this car for both appearance and performance.

And make a Performance Chip your second mod (after the BFG's go.) They're cheap as hell (between $20 and $60) and can add a bucketload of horse power to an otherwise stock set-up.

mac, got any good links for online accessory type stores? i'm curious to see what i'll have to work with. if i get it, that is... i'm doing my damndest not to count those fucking chickens.

Online......not really. We tricked my buddies 'Stang out back in '93 when the internet wasn't around much, so we used catalogs and telephones.

My best suggstion is to check out some 'Stang fan sites, the Corral is one my buddy suggested. They'll have links to sites and how-to's and what not.

My best suggestion for tires is Tires.com. Tires.com is Discount Tire's website and usually has lower prices then the store, so get your price there and go to the store with it in hand. If you want Rims and tires, TireRack.com has about the best price I've seen for big rim/tire packages (18's and up) but I've never looked into the smaller rims sizes that you'd need (I'd suggest not going any bigger then 17, maybe 18 with the right offset on this ride)

mmmkay, that's sorta what i've been doing. found a lot of stuff, but half of it's just ford replacement parts.
